Day 6 in Yellowknife, North West Territories

Not a long entry today. Well after a great day like yesterday it is hard to top but we came pretty close. After getting our butts up and going Marc, Boo, Taylor and I all headed out on the boat once again in search of more fish. We headed out into Great Slave again but this time only about 15 miles and found a very productive sweet spot that kept Marc hopping at the back of the boat pulling the pike of our 3 rods, Marc thank you and hope you slept well that night.

After a great steak dinner with some killer Pasta that Patrick and Jacques made to feed the hungry 12 of us, again thank you for all the hard work on it guys I am still full, Taylor and I decided to take off and go see if we could find the bison wondering around this great land. Well after about 1.5 hours of driving all we found was big piles of bison poop along the side of the road, but Taylor and I were lucky enough to have come across a great creek, bald eagle and a great horned owl that was perched in a tree on the way back. The great thing about it is we got to spend some time together to talk about what a awesome time we are having, and Taylor's favorite time was catching over 50 fish the day before and he also went on about how he was going to rub it in his buddy's Jeff face about how many and how big (13.9 lbs) his fish was and the fact that he is 11 and in the NWT and doing all this stuff no other 11 year old has ever done.

Renée don't worry Taylor is having a great time as am I, so when we got back from our bison hunting at 1:30am it was still light out so we went to bed. Some more fish shots to make everyone jealous.
