Day 8 in Yellowknife, North West Territories
Well the last full day here in the YK and I have to say it has been great. It is currently 2:30 am bright out and I am wide awake after the hour long nap I had at 10 and now been editing photos Since 11:30. A lot of wine for everyone else tonight has made this night a great night to sit and listen to everyone talk about things from family, to special times paddling on the lake with someone special in your life and then you see the gold at the end of the rainbow.
The conversations I have had with everyone this week have been great, I've learned so much about my Rochefort family this week some bad but alot more that is great about all of these guys! I'm looking forward to spending more time with them and learning more about them and hearing the stories that you all have. The best time though, was hanging with T-man, this week spending the time with him has been great and looking forward to getting home to see the rest of the family and just enjoy sleeping in my own bed again.
I want to thank Julie and her great family for allowing us into your house, and thank you Boo for setting up this great week it has been a good thing for everyone.
Oh yeah Julie, Taylor, Boo and I took off to the community of Behchoko (Rae-Edzo) a small 350 person community that has so many different things to look at and the kids play with garbage can lids and water guns on the dirt streets.
